Alexey Steele preview

Born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1967, Alexey Steele began his systematic art training at an early age in the studio of his father Leonid Steele - a renowned Russian painter. He furthered his professional education at the prestigious Surikov Art Institute of the Soviet Academy of Arts in Moscow under internationally acclaimed artist, Illia Glazunov.

Alexey is the Founder of Classical Underground, a unique non-establishment platform showcasing interconnection of visual and musical classical art forms.

Steele coined the term "novorealism", arguing the existence of a distinct, important and revolutionary movement in today's Art, of its inseparable part within new, multi-polar aesthetically Contemporary Art which reflects greatly democratized modern cultural terrain. www.novorealism.com

Alexey is also Co-Founder of the Annual Russian Heritage Festival at the Mission San Juan Capistrano.
