Featured Artists from the premiere Spring issue of APVM

Carlo Russo

Kerry Dunn

Travis Schlaht

Jacob Collins

Paul G. Oxborough

The first issue of American Painting Video Magazine contains segments covering some of the best painters in the country. The premiere issue starts off with an interview between Carlo Russo and Michael Klein in Carlo's Philadelphia studio. The second artist featured is Travis Schlaht, demonstrating his technique in a time-lapsed video that shows how he paints a still life. Then we look inside one of SoHo's renowned galleries that represents many talented painters from all over the world, Eleanor Ettinger Gallery. In this segment we highlight Paul G. Oxborough's latest exhibition of oil paintings inspired by his recent sojourn to Africa. Our next segment, which we are extremely honored to share, is an in-depth and personal conversation between two giants in the art world, Jacob Collins and Fine Art Connoisseur's editor, Peter Trippi. Also in the Spring issue is a DVD review by blogger Matthew Innis, covering one of Robert Liberace's productions "The Figure in Motion." Then Kerry Dunn, who is an assistant instructor to Nelson Shanks, demonstrates his portrait sketching technique. APVM finishes the first issue with a visit to the Long Island Academy of Fine Art, an atelier nestled away in beautiful Glenn Cove, Long Island.
